Marcella

Marcella is an embroidered chiffon maxi dress from Roheenaz’s Whispers of Grace collection in zinc — the only ensemble in the range with a hand embellished back neckline in organza, bringing handcraft embellishment to the back collar in a placement found nowhere else in the collection. The front design is built around a hand embellished front yoke on chiffon, hand embellished left and right kali panels on chiffon, and a front kali center panel in embroidered chiffon — the only piece in the range with a separately referenced front kali center, which gives the kali panels a three-zone front composition (left, center, right) rather than the standard two-zone arrangement of the other pieces. Marcella is also the only ensemble in Whispers of Grace with a hand embellished daman border in organza — replacing the standard machine-embroidered organza daman border with handcraft work at the hemline, making the lower edge of this chiffon maxi the most personally finished in the range. The dupatta specification is equally distinctive: an embroidered sequinned net dupatta paired with a combined dupatta and sleeves border in organza — the only ensemble where the dupatta border and sleeves border share a single referenced embroidery element. A dyed undershirt and a dyed raw silk lehenga complete this unstitched formal Pakistani chiffon maxi ensemble.
