Mahma

Mahma is an unstitched embroidered raw silk suit in maroon, the only outfit in Mah-e-Noor Vol. II where the dupatta carries both an organza border and an organza lace simultaneously, and where two separate daman border elements are applied at the shirt hem. The shirt is constructed across three embroidered and sequinned raw silk front panels, with the back in dyed raw silk. At the daman, two organza elements are applied independently: a standalone front daman border, and a combined border that runs across both the front daman and the sleeves. This dual-border system means the daman has layered organza embroidery from two separate applications, while the sleeves share the second border alongside the daman. The chiffon dupatta is embroidered and sequinned, then finished with both an organza dupatta border and an organza dupatta lace at its edge, giving it more trim layers than any other dupatta in the collection. The trouser is in dyed raw silk. Handmade tassels at the neckline and golden samosa and ribbon lace finishing complete the three-piece ensemble.
